The Gambas will present an evening of storytelling\, history\, and exceptional wine. After a century of selling their grapes to others\, the family opened their own winery in 2000\, and within a few short years they gathered amazing accolades for their hedonistic Zinfandel based red wines\, all while practicing organic farming and using only rainwater for irrigation. Famed critic Robert Parker wrote in Wine Advocate: “Gamba’s name is going to have to be included with some of the stars of Sonoma…”. Here at Ray’s\, we are in complete agreement with Mr. Parker: If you love rich and full-bodied red wines\, Gamba’s are among the best coming out of California.
