Tom Loup

Import Manager – Doer of Things

After receiving a Bachelors in Psychology, Tom began his wine journey the same way many people do, working front of the house in fine dining restaurants. Tom waited tables and managed bars for multiple restaurants in Ann Arbor and the Milwaukee suburbs before diving into distribution. He has called on customers in all corners of the state, developing strong relationships with those who are passionate about offering artisan wines from small producers.

With over 30 years in the wine industry, Tom brings a blend of deep knowledge to the Wisconsin market as well as to our vast portfolio. His passport is as full as his wine cellar, with travels through the world’s great wine regions shaping both his palate and perspective. Whether he’s curating a portfolio of small producers, leading trips to his favorite wine regions or guiding clients to their perfect selections, he does it all with precision, passion, and a good dose of humor.

Known affectionately by colleagues as “The Doer of Things,” he’s the person who gets it done, whether it’s navigating complex logistics, leading wine seminars or helping to create a great wine list. He’s as serious about quality and storytelling as he is lighthearted in conversation, believing that great wine is meant to be shared and enjoyed, not just studied.
