Orgo

Orgo is an artisan winery located in Eastern Georgia that specializes in the 8,000 year old Georgian Qvevri wine making tradition. Orgo is a project of the famous Georgian wine maker Gogi Dikishivili. Gogi, often referred to as the “godfather of qvevri wine”, was one of the first winemakers to ever bottle and export qvevri wine and is universally acknowledged as a pioneer of the revival of the qvevri wine technology in Georgia. His 30 years of experience and wisdom have come to fruition in the Orgo project where he can honor his centuries old family winemaking tradition. 

Orgo is a labor of love and is one of the only example of old vine Georgian wines. The concentration of the old vine grapes and the skill of the winemaker is a unique combination for Georgian wines. Orgo produces distinct visions wines that follow the ancient Georgian qvevri style but raise it to new heights of elegance.
