Domaine Frederic Mabileau

Two faces look in the same direction at the wines of Domaine Frederic Mabileau. They are signifying both a devotion to the family estate begun in the early 1980s, but also a certain steadfastness in moving forward and in giving place to the less exalted parts of the Loire. Remy, who returned to the family domaine in 2017, and his mother Nathalie are continuing the work of the family while forging new paths in the zone. They were early pioneers of organic farming with the aim of creating thoughtful, expressive, and elegant wines. 

Having taken over winemaking in 2020, Remy’s style is hands-off with spontaneous fermentations, low sulfur regimens, and aging in a variety of casks. For those who love the wines of this part of the Loire and their magnificence at the table, the Mabileau family captures the heart and soul of these grapes while always looking forward to the future.
